Irrigation Scheduling Service

From the start of your growing season, have our professional staff monitor your crop's water needs by computing your crop's growing stage with your soil type and comparing it to your location's evapo-transpiration rate and recent rainfall data. In other words, we'll let you know when to turn on your center pivot irrigation system.

At the conclusion of the year, the St. Joe County Conservation District will provide a year-end water use summary that you can use in generating your yearly reports to the Michigan Department of Agriculture. To review the State of Michigan's regulations is regards to Water Use Reporting, click here.

2010 Fees:   Within St. Joe County:  $175 per pivot*
Within Branch County:  $225-$275 per pivot*

*Note:  Fees are per irrigation system (one center pivot).
An additional $25 set-up fee is charged for systems not currently in our database.
A rain gauge is provided for each area.
